You’ve probably been told if you experience thirst you are already dehydrated, you need to drink a gallon of water per day to be hydrated, or that coffee and tea don’t count towards water intake. Reality check, your body is far wiser than this logic. Your body knows when you need hydration and tells you, and likewise tells you when you’ve had enough. Thirst is that mechanism and your innate intelligence is smarter than we are. Likewise it’s wise enough to break every substance down into basic components for metabolism. Therefore you attain hydration even through food. Point being you can over hydrate just as well as you can dehydrate. Best practice is to listen to your body and keep your food and fluids as clean and free of toxins as possible, but it can also handle the natural things like antioxidants and minerals.
